1993-2000 Collaboration at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, head of the working group on ecological economics and ecological economic policy.
1999-2020 Founding President of the Sustainable Europe Research Institute (SERI).
Since 2019 Senior Scientist at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and since 2022 also at the University of Salzburg.
