“Working as an intern for the CoR AT for the past four months has been a rewarding and insightful experience. During my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to grow my professional skill set while making a difference in the fight against climate change. My time working here has provided me with valuable insights into the world of non-profit organizations and climate change advocacy.
One of the most rewarding aspects of working for the CoR AT was the opportunity to engage with professionals and experts from various backgrounds. I had the opportunity to meet and work with impact makers in various fields, due to the club’s international background. As one of the world’s leading think tanks on climate change, I engaged with the forefront of ideas on how to best combat climate change. This international work environment not only enriched my understanding but also sharpened my communication and teamwork skills in order to accomplish goals.
During my time working for the CoR AT, I was involved in organizing various events and activities. These events had the goal of fostering policy change in the fight against climate change. From seminars to networking events, I had the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that had a positive impact in the local community and far beyond. These unique experiences allowed me to develop useful skills, such as event planning, project management, marketing, and web design.
I have also enjoyed my time living in Austria. It has been amazing to have the opportunity to experience its rich history and culture firsthand. I’ve had the opportunity to explore historic landmarks, visit different museums, and experience Austrian cuisine. My time outside of the office has been an incredible adventure and one of the best times of my life.
In conclusion, my internship at the CoR AT was a transformative professional experience. My work experience here has provided me with numerous practical skills while immersing myself in a different culture. I am thankful that my experiences here will provide me with hard skills that will be useful to my career in the future. Over the last 4 months, my knowledge of the world of nonprofits and climate change advocacy has increased exponentially. I’m thankful for CoR AT for providing me with this excellent opportunity.”
